Shania Pruden is a nineteen-year-old Youth Activist, Blogger and Youth Motivational Speaker.
In August 2014, Shania started her blog, www.shaniapruden.wordpress.com to raise awareness on Aboriginal Issues in Canada. But soon that turned into writing about awareness on Mental Health, Education, Poverty, and Homelessness.
Shania also turns her written words into actions and is a youth motivational speaker. Shania lends her voice to organizations that she is passionate about and has become a speaker for We Day, a stadium-sized event to inspire thousands of youth to be the change they wish to see in the world. Shania also donates her voice to the United Way Speaker’s Bureau – speaking to various businesses, schools and organizations to help raise money for over 100 non-profit agencies in Winnipeg.
Shania has found power in using her voice to inspire, motivate and empower people of all ages to find their spark, light it up and keep it going. Shania is an Active Volunteer at 7 different organizations. A Youth Ambassador for the NorWest YouthHub and the Youth against Mental Illness Stigma (YAMIS)
Through her own search for role models, Shania has become a role model herself. In her journey to “Imagine the Possibilities” and to continue inspiring other young people to “Be the Change”
